Dragonfly Learners is our newest location which opened in 2019 to help fill the need for quality child care in the community. 

​

Located in Albany Oregon, our Child Care Home is conveniently located right off I-5 behind Costco.  We have a wonderfully large back yard with landscaping to promote imagination & discovery and inside environments created with intention and extended learning.  We are just a short walk away from schools and parks.

A Cozy Environment Where Children Feel Safe & Loved!

Dragonfly Learners is located in a home dedicated just for caring for your little ones.  We have a large Preschool Area with 7 Learning Environments.  Our Toddlers have their own room with private bathroom as well as a separate infant room providing privacy and calm when needed.  We have a large back yard with an apple tree and lots of places for children to go on adventures.  There is a covered area for the rainy months where we bring curriculum outside with sensory tables, art, science and more!

Dragonfly's Preschool Program is a small group of 8 children who thrive with meaningful curriculum created to spark imagination, discovery, provocation, self direction and self regulation.  With an emphasis on STEAM and Literacy, your child will be academically ready and with our Conscious Discipline, they will be socially ready!  Children also take advantage of hand's on learning through our science table and garden area where predictions and investigations spark curiosity and love of learning!

Our first job as teachers is to develop a nurturing relationship and provide caring interactions with the children in our care.  This promotes trust and prepares children for social emotional growth.

During your child's first two years they will grow more and develop further than any other time in their life.  Because of this it is important to provide them with a nurturing and stimulating environment which will meet their basic needs and beyond.  At this age, learning is very individualized and is all about discovering the world at their own pace.

We support Diversity & Inclusion in our program by helping children to feel good about themselves, their families, and their communities, and also exposing children to differences, things that are unfamiliar, and experiences beyond their immediate lives. Teachers, children and families, have the opportunity to learn from each other as well as reflect on the world around them. They develop a deeper sense of curiosity and compassion for others.
