Located in the #1 neighborhood in Portland, Oregon our Bethany Home is conveniently located right off HWY 26 near Bethany Village.  We have a wonderfully large back yard with landscaping to promote imagination & discovery and inside environments created with intention and extended learning.  We are just a short walk away from the Amazing Pirate Park and walking paths.

Bethany Early Learning is located in a large bright home with an open kitchen & eating area.  We have a large Preschool Area with 7 Learning Environments.  Our small class of just 4 Toddlers have their own room with a Dramatic Play, Literacy, Art and Block area.  Our large back yard has a garden where children grow many vegetables and discover a wonderful insect world under the tree stumps.  There is room for riding toys, basketball, club houses, slides and sensory tables as well as a rock area with tires.

We encourage cultural awareness through the influence of foreign language. We teach Spanish & French, through music, movement, dance, cooking & art. We believe there is great value in educating young children on other cultures and languages.  Children have the opportunity to develop a deeper sense of curiosity and compassion for others.

Bethany's Preschool Program is a small group of 10 children who thrive with meaningful curriculum created to spark imagination, discovery, provocation, self direction and self regulation.  With an emphasis on STEAM and Literacy, your child will be academically ready and with our Conscious Discipline, they will be socially ready!  Children also take advantage of hand's on learning through our science table and large garden area where predictions and investigations spark curiosity and love of learning!  Adding Spanish Immersion makes it even more exciting!

We support Diversity & Inclusion in our program by helping children to feel good about themselves, their families, and their communities, and also exposing children to differences, things that are unfamiliar, and experiences beyond their immediate lives. Teachers, children and families, have the opportunity to learn from each other as well as reflect on the world around them. They develop a deeper sense of curiosity and compassion for others.
